German tuner Brabus has recently introduced a special edition of the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe called the Brabus 1000, which has undergone a huge transformation in terms of appearance and technology.
Powerful technical changes
The engine displacement has been increased from 4.0 to 4.5 liters and new turbochargers with increased pressure have been installed.
The car is based on the GT 63 S E Performance version, which, together with the internal combustion engine, uses an electric rear axle with 197 horsepower, so the final output has reached a very impressive number.
Uninterrupted performance and incredible acceleration
- The Brabus version's power output approaches 1,000 horsepower, and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds. Although no official price has been announced, given the car's high base price, the Brabus version is definitely in the super-luxury category.
Unique appearance style
In addition to the technical upgrades, Brabus has added a carbon fiber package and a set of titanium sports exhausts to both give the car a more aggressive look and reduce weight for a better driving experience.
In another example, the PowerXtra B40-600 version for the GT S model, which is based on the 4.0-liter V8 engine, adds about 88 more horsepower and 100 Nm of torque:
Final output: 440 kW (~592 hp) and 750 Nm of torque.
Zero to 100 km/h: 3.6 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than the standard version).
Top speed: about 325 km/h
In this version, lightweight titanium exhaust pipes replace the factory system to reduce weight and adjust the exhaust output.
