Hyundai Ioniq 6 N; The electric supercar that broke the boundary between silence and excitement!

In a world where electric cars are known for being quiet, quiet, and sometimes unexciting, Hyundai has once again shown that it can create a completely different experience. The Ioniq 6 N is not just an all-electric sedan, but a true successor to the combustion engine sports car of the modern world. The car was first shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England and attracted everyone's attention with its aggressive appearance, sophisticated technology, and outstanding performance. Let's take a journey into the heart of this electric monster together.

Power beyond expectations; 650 horsepower, ready to roar!

At the heart of the car are two powerful electric motors, one mounted on the front axle and one on the rear. In normal mode, the Ioniq 6 N produces 601 horsepower, but when a special mode called N Grin Boost is activated, that number increases to 650 horsepower — and that in just 10 seconds.

This momentary surge of power is designed for sudden overtaking or drag-style launches, and it delivers a real sense of excitement. In this mode, torque reaches 770 Nm, a figure that would bring even many gasoline-powered supercars to their knees.

Rapid acceleration; 0 to 100 in 3.2 seconds!

The official acceleration of the Ioniq 6 N with the Launch Control system activated is announced to be only 3.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h. The top speed of this car is also 257 km/h, which is an impressive number among electric cars.

Large brakes with 42 cm discs at the front and an advanced cooling system give the driver peace of mind about safety at high speeds.

Massive battery, super fast charging

Hyundai uses the same 84kWh battery as the Ioniq 5 N, but thanks to its intelligent thermal management system and 800V architecture, it allows for super-fast charging. That means you can go from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes at a 350kW fast charger!

The Battery Preconditioning feature also helps minimize charging times when you’re near a charging station — even in cold weather or extreme driving conditions.

More range than before

The Ioniq 6 N has a claimed range of 469 km (299 miles) under the WLTP standard. This means that not only can you travel a long distance on a single charge, but it also outperforms the Ioniq 5 N. However, the US EPA test results have not yet been released.

A different driving experience; technology at the service of emotion

One of the most interesting features of the Ioniq 6 N is the N e-Shift system. This technology recreates the feel of driving with a traditional sports transmission by simulating gear changes, sounds and soft bumps. Even the cabin audio system produces sounds similar to a turbocharged engine that sound strangely realistic!

Another feature is the intelligent cabin lighting system that changes color according to driving style and how much the accelerator is pressed; a mode called N Active Light that keeps the driver more involved in the car.

Price and release time

Although the final price has not yet been announced, the car is expected to cost between $50,000 and $70,000. Its official launch will begin in late 2025, first in the European and South Korean markets, then in North America.
